FAQ’s

  • Yes you can, as long as baby isn’t on the move. If you need to feed baby during your treatment we can accommodate this. There is space in my treatment room for a pushchair or car seat.

  • For a C-section scar massage it is helpful if you wear some leggings or a loose fitting pair of trousers, that can be easily folded down to expose the scar area.

    For massage treatments just wear something comfortable and we can discuss your preferences at your treatment.

    I have a private changing area within my treatment room and can accommodate working around clothing whether that be because you are breastfeeding or for religious reasons.

  • Yes, there is ample on street parking

  • For C-section scar massage, I recommend 10 weeks onwards, this is to give the scar a good about of time to heal externally. You scar must be fully healed with no stitches or scabs to begin massage.

    For postnatal massage, treatment can begin after you have had your 6 week check.

  • Depending on the condition I can usually still work with you. Prior to your appointment I send you a pre-screening form, and will get in touch with you after submission to discuss any pre-existing conditions. I commonly work with conditions such as fibromyalgia, Ehlors-Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Pain.
