Data processors
Jotform
This data processor does the following activities for us: To securely collect and manage initial consultation forms, health questionnaires, and treatment consent details before a client session. This ensures we have a digital, secure record of relevant medical history and injury details to plan treatment safely.
Squarespace
This data processor does the following activities for us: Our website is hosted on the Squarespace platform, which automatically collects basic, non-identifying technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) when you visit our site. This processing is necessary to deliver the website content smoothly, ensure network security, protect the site against cyber threats, and understand general visitor traffic. If you choose to sign up for our newsletter, we use Squarespace Email Campaigns to securely store your name and email address and to send you updates, health tips, and clinic news. You can easily opt out of these marketing updates at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of every email.
Acuity Scheduling
This data processor does the following activities for us: Provided via the Squarespace platform, this service securely manages our online appointment bookings and scheduling. It safely stores your contact information, appointment times, medical summaries, and treatment session notes to ensure seamless clinic operations and continuity of care.
Stripe
This data processor does the following activities for us: To securely process online payments, manage booking deposits, and handle digital transaction requests before or after client sessions. This ensures all payment card data is handled securely and in compliance with financial regulations, without our business storing sensitive billing details.
SumUp
This data processor does the following activities for us: To securely process in-person card payments, contactless transactions, and mobile payouts at our premises or location. This allows us to safely collect immediate payments for treatments or products while ensuring financial transaction data is processed in accordance with payment security standards.
Duty of confidentiality
We are subject to a common law duty of confidentiality. However, there are circumstances where we will share relevant health and care information. These are where:
you’ve provided us with your consent (we have taken it as implied to provide you with care, or you have given it explicitly for other uses);
we have a legal requirement (including court orders) to collect, share or use the data;
on a case-by-case basis, the public interest to collect, share and use the data overrides the public interest served by protecting the duty of confidentiality (for example sharing information with the police to support the detection or prevention of serious crime);
If in England or Wales – the requirements of The Health Service (Control of Patient Information) Regulations 2002 are satisfied; or
If in Scotland – we have the authority to share provided by the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, the Chief Executive of NHS Scotland, the Public Benefit and Privacy Panel for Health and Social Care or other similar governance and scrutiny process.
